Welcome
Hi there..
I love open source software and i love free software..
But i don’t want to contribute anymore. Since every time I submitted patches to open source project the answer was
I can not reproduce this problem.
or
The software is not intended to be used in such an environment.. so this problem can not be considered a bug and will not be fixed.
or
The RFC isn’t that clear in the behaviour of the software in this usecase. So i’m not changing anything even if files are likely to be corrupted in the way the software is curently implemented.
or short
WORKS FOR ME
To be clear: In every case I submitted a patch that fixed my particular problem without affecting the normal behaviour of the software.
I am tired of discussing patches that do fix a particular problem of a software. I just wanted to contribute something and to help people that are experiencing the same problems. I don’t want to named in any ChangeLogs for fame and glory.
So I am currently starting this project to have a place where I can publish my fixes to my problems.
You are free to take a patch and upstream it to the original project under my name or your name or whatever name you like to tell them.. I don’t care..
If you do have experienced similar problems when submitting patches feel free to contact me and publish them here. But only real fixes and no unheared bugreports are currently welcome.
Regards marius..
